Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a store associate to act as the point of contact for customers, maintain plan-o-grams, stock merchandise, and protect company assets. You will unload trucks, build displays, stock and rotate items, assist customers, and operate the cash register to complete transactions.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, handling payments, assisting with ordering merchandise via handheld scanners, and keeping the store clean and organized.

Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate, and face merchandise on shelves; build displays.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and greeting customers.
• Operate cash register, total purchases, and bag items; collect payment.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners as needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness including front end, restrooms, and stockroom.
