Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a store associate to greet customers, stock shelves, and maintain plan-o-grams while supporting daily operations on the sales floor. You will help customers locate products, operate the cash register, and ensure clean, organized aisles.

Responsibilities include unloading shipments, stocking merchandise, creating displays, and assisting with ordering using handheld scanners.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open, and unpack cartons; stock merchandise in stock room or on sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays and rotate stock on shelves.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and answer questions.
• Operate cash register and bag items; collect payment and give change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using hand-held scanners as needed.
• Keep store front clean; set up sidewalk displays as required.
