Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is seeking a Merchandiser with Davidson Specialty Foods to ensure local grocery stores have stocked shelves across assigned territories in Nassau and Suffolk counties. The role requires daily travel and adherence to display plans.

You will set up new displays, restock products, follow planograms, and maintain clean, organized shelves while meeting due dates. The position offers weekly pay, travel reimbursement, and benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers.
• Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations and respond promptly to customer needs.
• Willingness to solicit customer feedback to improve service.
• Communication skills including speaking clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations.

Responsibilities

• Travel daily to local grocery stores and supermarkets in an assigned territory.
• Assisting with new display setups and resetting existing displays of product.
• Packing out grocery orders when needed.
• Following planograms to adjust shelves and move inventory accordingly.
• Cleaning, straightening, and organizing shelves.
• Remaining accountable to completion of work by assigned due dates.

Job Description

Pay - $19 - $21/hr (Based on relevant experience)

Job Type - Full-Time

Territory –Eastern Nassau County & Western Suffolk County: Farmingdale, New Hyde Park, Oceanside, Babylon, Amityville, West Hempstead, and Port Washington.

Schedule 5-day work week (flexibility needed, Weekends/Holidays)

Flex start (7:00am - 3:30pm; 8:00am - 4:00pm; 9:00am - 5:00pm)

You will contribute by:

• Traveling daily to local grocery stores and supermarkets in an assigned territory
• Assisting with new display setups and resetting existing displays of product
• Packing out grocery orders when needed
• Following planograms to adjust shelves and move inventory accordingly
• Cleaning, straightening, and organizing shelves
