Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is seeking a Merchandiser for Davidson Specialty Foods to ensure local grocery stores are stocked and ready for consumers. The role involves daily travel within an assigned territory and collaborating on planograms and shelf resets.

This full-time position offers paid training, weekly pay, travel and mileage reimbursements, and comprehensive benefits from day one. The successful candidate will join a team focused on keeping communities fed across the area.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers.
• Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations and respond promptly to customer needs.
• Willingness to solicit customer feedback to improve service.
• Communication skills including speaking clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations.
• Capability to read and interpret written information and comprehend simple instructions.

Responsibilities

• Travel daily to local grocery stores and supermarkets in an assigned territory.
• Assist with new display setups and reset existing displays of product.
• Pack out grocery orders when needed.
• Follow planograms to adjust shelves and move inventory accordingly.
• Clean, straighten, and organize shelves.
• Remain accountable to completion of work by assigned due dates.

Job Description

• Pay - $19 - $21/hr
• Job Type - Full-Time
• Territory – Quincy, MA, Walpole, MA, Prov, RI & Westerly, RI (everything in between)

Schedule

• 5 - day work week (flexibility needed, Weekends/Holidays)
• Flex start (7:00am - 3:30pm; 8:00am - 4:00pm; 9:00am - 5:00pm)

You will contribute by:

• Traveling daily to local grocery stores and supermarkets in an assigned territory
• Assisting with new display setups and resetting existing displays of product
• Packing out grocery orders when needed
• Following planograms to adjust shelves and move inventory accordingly
• Cleaning, straightening, and organizing shelves
• Remaining accountable to completion of work by assigned due dates
• The nature of the role requires transportation to get to and from work
