Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers is seeking a Merchandiser for a territory covering Quincy, MA, Walpole, MA, Providence, RI and Westerly, RI. This full-time position involves traveling to local grocery stores to set up and refresh product displays, pack orders, and maintain shelves according to planograms.

The role requires reliable transportation and offers paid training, weekly pay, travel/mileage reimbursement, and benefits from day one. Food distribution experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or High School Diploma (General Studies) required.
• Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Travel daily to local grocery stores in assigned territory.
• Assist with new display setups and reset existing displays.
• Pack out grocery orders as needed and follow planograms.
• Sort, stock, and organize shelves; ensure cleanliness and order.
• Meet assigned due dates and complete tasks; travel/mobility required.

As a Merchandiser with Davidson Specialty Foods, you will become a key part of ensuring that local grocery stores have stocked shelves and can continue to supply their consumers.

Job Description

• Pay - $19 - $21/hr
• Job Type - Full-Time
• Territory - Quincy, MA, Walpole, MA, Prov, RI & Westerly, RI (everything in between)

Schedule

• 5 - day work week (flexibility needed, Weekends/Holidays)
• Flex start (7:00am - 3:30pm; 8:00am - 4:00pm; 9:00am - 5:00pm)

You will contribute by:

• Traveling daily to local grocery stores and supermarkets in an assigned territory
• Assisting with new display setups and resetting existing displays of product
• Packing out grocery orders when needed
• Following planograms to adjust shelves and move inventory accordingly
• Cleaning, straightening, and organizing shelves
• Remaining accountable to completion of work by assigned due dates
• The nature of the role requires transportation to get to and from work
