Job summary

Cash America Pawn in Durham, NC is hiring for a Full-Time Retail Sales Associate. Earn $15.00 - $19.00 per hour plus Unlimited Commission. Store hours typically 9AM-6PM, with Sundays closed in many locations.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks.
• Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Comfortable working with various merchandise; firearms in FFL locations with certification provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with sales, loans, and product inquiries.
• Explain terms, complete paperwork, and ensure a smooth customer-focused experience for pawn/short-term loans.
• Process sales and loan activity accurately following guidelines.
• Evaluate merchandise for condition and value to support buying, selling, and loan decisions.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and displays.
• Handle cash and negotiable items responsibly.
• Support store operations, including opening/closing tasks.
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Complete required training and follow company policies.
