Job summary

FirstCash is seeking a Full-Time Retail Sales Associate in a Columbus, GA location. The role offers $14.00-$17.00 per hour plus unlimited commission and an opportunity to earn 2-8% commission based on performance.

You will greet customers, assist with sales and loan services, process transactions, and maintain a tidy store environment while following regulatory guidelines. Ideal candidates are 18+, with a HS diploma or GED, able to lift 50 lbs, and comfortable working weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a HS diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Able to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends/holidays.
• Experience with firearms in FFL locations; certification provided.
• Strong customer service and a team-oriented mindset.
• Basic math and computer skills; POS experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with sales, loans, and inquiries.
• Support customers with pawn and short-term loan services by explaining terms and completing paperwork.
• Process sales and loan activity accurately following guidelines.
• Evaluate merchandise for condition and value to support buying/selling decisions.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and displays.
• Handle cash and negotiable items responsibly.
• Support store operations including opening/closing tasks.
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Complete required training and follow company policies.
