Job summary

Qualifications

• Prior retail experience in inventory control and retail sales.
• Ability to routinely lift 10 pounds and occasionally lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Preferred: Experience operating a cash register and knowledge of sales inventory.
• Preferred: Previous retail supervisory experience in the duties above.
• Preferred: Current USCG NAF sales clerk with at least 6 months experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and assist with merchandise selection.
• Provide outstanding customer service and respond quickly to concerns.
• Oversee operations of the sale department and stock levels.
• May order merchandise, price items, and manage signage.
• Operate cash register and handle cash, checks, and cards.
• Open/close the store and supervise other employees as needed.
• Follow loss prevention policies and safety standards.
