OVERVIEW:

The Lead has a direct impact on both the execution of brand standards and the teammate experience. With guidance from the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager, the Lead is the in-store expert of their department. They focus on delivering excellent customer service and providing direction to teammates. Key qualities include leading by example, empathy, resilience, optimism, and collaboration.

  • Supports building and hiring a strong team by observing in-store interviews and department tours.
  • Builds a people-first culture by connecting with every teammate to foster mutual trust and respect, contributing to a strong store recognition culture.
  • Plans, organizes, and controls 30-day outlooks with guidance from the Assistant Store Manager, including workforce planning for daily tasks, projects, and store events.
  • Leverages teammates strategically to ensure brand standards are met, programs and processes are executed daily, and tasks are delegated based on priority.
  • Upholds merchandising and presentation standards, following established floor sets, signage, pricing, inventory, and replenishment standards.
  • Assists the leadership team with store supervision in accordance with company policies.
  • Supports training of teammates on company procedures and programs, including onboarding and cross-training.
  • Prioritizes coaching and development, providing hands-on guidance and explaining the purpose behind tasks and processes.
  • Leads by example to support organizational and store vision, helping teammates understand how their responsibilities align with organizational goals and enhancing the shopping experience.
  • Creates an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome, safe, and respected.
  • Adheres to policies related to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures, maintaining confidentiality of company information.
  • Supports the team across the store with an all-hands-on-deck approach.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Prior retail or customer-focused experience preferred.
  • Ability to stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift 15 to 35 lbs. repeatedly (up to 25 times per hour).
  • Ability to work extended periods (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
  • Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet using ladders or aerial lifts.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods (up to 2 hours).
