Palmetto Moon is seeking an Assistant Sales Manager in Panama City Beach, FL. This full-time role supports the Store Sales Manager in driving sales, executing operations, and delivering outstanding customer service. The position is non-exempt and paid at an hourly rate.

The role covers leadership, staff coaching, staffing, and ensuring product knowledge and visual standards are maintained across the store. You will participate in opening/closing duties and safety procedures daily.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of previous leadership experience, preferably in a retail setting.
• Proven ability to drive sales and deliver excellent customer service.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, coaching mindset.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Sales Manager in achieving sales goals and objectives.
• Perform Manager on Duty (MOD) shifts to monitor and motivate team.
• Engage customers, train staff, and resolve issues to maintain service standards.
• Monitor daily/weekly labor and adjust to meet plans or needs.
• Understand KPI impact on store performance and act accordingly.
• Lead in staffing, orientation, and coaching as needed.
• Ensure merchandise is presented per visual standards and guidelines.
• Drive safety, opening/closing procedures, and cash handling.
