Job summary

Vans is seeking a Sales Lead to join our store team in California. You will support the store leadership by delivering personalized customer engagement, driving sales results, and modeling the voice of the Vans brand.

You will coach associates, supervise when needed, and help create an inclusive, consumer-centric environment. A strong track record in retail and excellent communication are valued; this role offers a part-time or internship schedule with incentive potential.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related professional retail experience preferred but not required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; hands-on experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high level of personalized customer engagement through genuine interactions.
• Assist in maximizing and achieving store sales and goals by monitoring sales progress & results against key targets.
• Foster a consumer centric mindset and an inclusive store environment, while modeling selling behaviors through genuine interactions with consumers.
• Assist in providing direct feedback, coaching and supervision of the associates.
• Occasionally assume responsibility for the store in the absence of another manager.
• Regularly interact with consumers within the store, providing a high level of customer service.
• Provide actionable feedback to store associates and adhere to policies, procedures and practices that align with company directives.
