OVERVIEW:

The Lead has a direct impact on both the execution of brand standards and the teammate experience. With guidance from the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager, the Lead is the in-store expert of their department. They focus on delivering the best service to customers and providing direction to teammates. Key traits include leading by example, empathy, resilience, optimism, and collaboration.

  • Supports building and hiring a strong team by observing in-store interviews and department tours.
  • Builds a people-first culture by connecting with every teammate to foster trust, respect, and contribute to store recognition.
  • Plans, organizes, and controls 30-day strategies with guidance, including workforce planning for daily tasks, projects, and events.
  • Leverages teammates to meet brand standards, execute programs and processes, and delegate tasks based on priority.
  • Upholds merchandising and presentation standards, following established floor sets, signage, pricing, and inventory protocols.
  • Assists with store supervision in accordance with company policies.
  • Supports teammate training, onboarding, and cross-training efforts.
  • Prioritizes coaching and development, providing hands-on guidance and explaining the "why" behind tasks.
  • Leads by example to align responsibilities with organizational goals and ensure a hassle-free shopping experience.
  • Creates an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome, safe, and respected.
  • Adheres to safety, loss prevention, and operational policies, maintaining confidentiality.
  • Takes a proactive approach to team support across the store.
  • Performs additional tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Prior retail or customer-focused experience preferred.
  • Golf experience is a plus.
  • Ability to stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift 15-35 lbs., repeatedly.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods (up to 4 hours).
  • Ability to work at heights above 4 feet using ladders or lifts.
  • Repetitive motion capability for short durations.
