Overview

The Key Carrying Lead has a direct impact on brand standards and the teammate experience. Under the guidance of the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager, the Lead is the in-store expert of their department, focused on delivering excellent customer service and providing direction to teammates. Key qualities include leading by example, empathy, resilience, optimism, and collaboration.

  • Supports building and hiring a strong team through interviews and department tours.
  • Fosters a people-first culture by building trust and respect with teammates.
  • Plans and organizes 30-day strategies with the Assistant Store Manager, including workforce planning for daily tasks, projects, or store events.
  • Leverages teammates strategically to meet brand standards, execute programs, and delegate tasks based on priority.
  • Assists with store supervision, including opening/closing, Front End and Cash Office functions, and firearms sales compliance.
  • Upholds merchandising standards, including floor sets, signage, pricing, and inventory presentation.
  • Supports teammate training, onboarding, and cross-training.
  • Maintains loss prevention standards and controls.
  • Prioritizes coaching and development, providing hands-on guidance and explaining the 'why' behind tasks.
  • Leads by example to align responsibilities with organizational goals and enhance the shopping experience.
  • Creates an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome and respected.
  • Adheres to policies on safety, loss prevention, and confidentiality.
  • Supports the team across the store and performs other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • Ability to work extended periods standing or walking, and at heights with equipment.
  • Repetitive motion capability for short durations.
