Job summary

Chico’s is seeking a Sales Lead for Store 1115-Tanger Outlet Center in Deer Park, NY. You’ll supervise the team, model hospitality, and partner with store leaders to drive results while delivering personalized service that reflects our culture.

You will open/close, coach, schedule, manage inventory, and ensure brand priorities are communicated to the team, maintaining a positive, customer-focused environment on the sales floor.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• A team player mindset with ownership and initiative.
• Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products as well as lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist store leadership with general store operations, including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Share brand priorities, initiatives, and messages with store teams.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and omni-channel approaches.
• Provide coaching to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Execute operations activities, including cash handling, scheduling, inventory, and replenishment.
• Be knowledgeable about current sales, promotions, and store policies.
• Support associate development, assist with scheduling, and share ideas with leaders.
• Contribute to a positive work environment through teamwork.
