Job summary

Chico's Outlet in Deer Park, NY is seeking a Sales Lead to supervise the team, model brand standards, and deliver personalized, hospitality-driven customer experiences on the sales floor. You will partner with store leadership to manage openings/closings, coach associates, share brand priorities, and ensure inventory, scheduling, and transactions run smoothly.

This role emphasizes teamwork, strong communication, and flexible hours including nights and weekends to support busy retail periods.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• A team player mindset with a high level of ownership and initiative.
• Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products as well as maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom, operate the register, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store leadership team with general store operations, including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Actively share brand priorities, initiatives, and messages with store teams.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and utilizing an omni-channel approach.
• Provide coaching and encouragement to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Execute operations activities, including cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment.
• Be knowledgeable about current sales, promotions, and store policies.
• Support associate development, provide coaching feedback, and assist with scheduling, when needed.
• Share ideas and insights with the store leadership team.
• Contribute to a positive work environment by embracing teamwork with peers and leaders.
