Position Overview:

The Lead plays a vital role in executing brand standards and enhancing the teammate experience. Working under the guidance of the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager, the Lead is the in-store expert of their department. They focus on delivering excellent customer service and providing direction to teammates. Key qualities include leading by example, empathy, resilience, optimism, and collaboration.

  1. Supports building and hiring a strong team through observing in-store interviews and department tours.
  2. Fosters a people-first culture by building trust and respect with teammates, contributing to a positive store environment.
  3. Plans and organizes store activities 30 days in advance with guidance from the Assistant Store Manager, including workforce planning and execution of daily tasks, projects, and events.
  4. Leverages teammates strategically to meet brand standards, execute programs, and prioritize tasks.
  5. Maintains company merchandising and presentation standards, including floor sets, signage, pricing, and inventory presentation.
  6. Assists with general supervision of the store in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  7. Supports training new and current teammates on company procedures and programs.
  8. Prioritizes coaching and development, providing hands-on guidance and explaining the rationale behind tasks and processes.
  9. Leads by example to align teammates with the store’s vision, organizational goals, and customer experience standards.
  10. Creates an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome, safe, and respected.
  11. Adheres to safety, loss prevention policies, and confidentiality standards.
  12. Supports the team across the store as needed.
  13. Performs additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Prior retail or customer-focused experience preferred.
  • Ability to stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift 15-35 lbs. repeatedly.
  • Ability to work extended periods standing or walking.
  • Ability to work at heights above 4 feet using ladders or lifts.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions for short durations.
