A seasoned Floor Lead is wanted immediately for The Spice & Tea Exchange, a specialty retail shop that sells spices, herbs, teas, spice blends, and related products. Our Floor Leads are responsible for maintaining thorough understanding and compliance with all operating standards and procedures related to daily store management. Responsibilities

1. Comply with all store operating standards and procedures.
2. Assist Store Managers by coaching, counseling, and developing team members; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
3. Implement floor strategies based on key performance indicators and motivate team members to meet sales goals.
4. Respond to the store's email account daily in the absence of Managers.
5. Communicate essential information to the Store Manager and staff.
6. Label merchandise, assist with label creation, and maintain inventory of labels.
7. Blend and package products as needed.
8. Record inventory transactions in the POS system.
9. Stock shelves and maintain product availability through regular inventory checks.
10. Build rapport with guests to encourage return visits and word-of-mouth promotion.
11. Uphold and promote the brand at all times while in uniform.
12. Ensure daily deposits are made in the absence of the Store Manager.
13. Implement security measures to safeguard merchandise.
14. Balance and reconcile cash registers daily.
15. Contribute to a cohesive team environment and achieve related results as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-3 years of retail management experience.
• Computer skills, including Google Office and POS/Inventory systems.
• Availability on weekdays and weekends, mornings, afternoons, and late evenings.

Compensation: $21.00 per hour
