Pay Class: Part Time

Pay: $11.86 - 16.01 per hour

The Role:

A Visionworks Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead/Sales Lead is the face of our business, ensuring the best possible experience for every patient and customer. This role requires knowledge of optics, our products/services, and managed vision care. The Sr. OS guides patients/customers through their eyewear journey, ensuring their needs are met confidently and efficiently. A minimum of 12 months optical experience is required.

The SR. OS must hold and maintain the necessary licenses per state guidelines, dispensing eyewear where required and licensed.

• Achieve daily sales goals by delivering excellent customer/patient experiences
• Engage with customers and recommend suitable products and services for their eye care needs
• Measure and fit eyewear accurately; maintain product knowledge through ongoing training
• Support store operations, including opening and closing, especially in LEAD roles

Qualifications:

• At least 12 months optical experience or ABO Certification in lieu of experience
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Maintain Optician License requirements as per state guidelines, if applicable
