Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Northern Michigan is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to handle textiles and wares, operate the cash register, process donations, and provide exceptional customer service. You will maintain displays, assist donors and customers, and ensure accurate register balances while upholding safety policies.

The role requires handling donations, stocking shelves, and promoting sales through signage and merchandising.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse staff, customers, volunteers, and vendors.
• Strong verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently in a multi-duty environment.
• Ability to operate a forklift is preferred.
• Ability to receive and disperse cash accurately and perform basic math functions.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities
