Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Sales Director within the Logic, Part of Accenture team, to lead complex retail sales pursuits and close opportunities with major client logos. You will build executive relationships, craft value-based propositions, and drive strategic deals across retail clients globally.

The role requires 8+ years in sales within consulting/tech/out-sourcing in retail, with a track record of multi-million quotas, and a Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in sales for a large Consulting, Technology and/or Outsourcing Services provider with deep expertise in the retail industry.
• Minimum of 8 years’ Sales Pursuit Management experience.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in direct sales with quota preferably in excess of $20M+.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience.

Responsibilities

• Actively originate new business opportunities and secure new client logos through your industry expertise and network of contacts.
• Cultivate and leverage a strong network within the retail industry to identify new sales opportunities.
• Develop value-led sales strategies that address critical challenges in the retail space.
• Position Accenture's retail capabilities and thought leadership to differentiate in competitive sales scenarios.
• Apply deep retail industry knowledge to create compelling proposals and presentations that resonate with client executives.
• Navigate complex retail buyer landscapes, identifying and engaging key decision makers.
• Bring an understanding of current retail market dynamics, competitive pressures, and emerging industry trends to sales conversations.
• Provide industry context and credibility in client meetings, drawing on practical retail knowledge.
• Collaborate with Accenture's industry, technology, and delivery experts to craft solutions that address specific retail business needs.
• Track and analyze retail industry developments to identify potential sales opportunities.
