Job summary

CITITRENDS, Inc. is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver outstanding customer service in-store. The role requires knowledge of merchandise, proactive engagement with customers, and the ability to uphold store policies while maintaining a professional appearance.

The Sales Associate will help with merchandising, handle transactions, support loss prevention, and contribute to a positive work culture within a fast-paced retail environment. In-store availability, including weekends, is expected.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Processes freight
• Assisting with price changes/markdowns
• Balances register according to company policy
• Handles all cash, checks and credit cards correctly and by company policy
• Explains our exchange/refund policies to customers after transactions
• Performs other duties as may be assigned
