Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a store associate to act as the primary contact for customers, help maintain plan-o-grams, stock shelves, and assist in creating attractive displays. You will support smooth store operations and customer satisfaction while protecting company assets.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, processing shipments, and operating the cash register to complete customer transactions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes; stock merchandise.
• Build merchandise displays and stock/rotate on shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register; bag merchandise and collect payment.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners as needed.
• Keep front end clean and ready; set up sidewalk displays when necessary.
