Job summary

Mammoth Mountain is seeking a seasonal Sales Associate to help guests find the right products on the Sport Shop floor and to cashier at peak times.

You will assist multiple guests, keep the shop stocked and clean, and contribute to a smooth checkout experience. Weekend shifts and daytime hours are typical.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent experience.
• Three to six months experience in sales or guest service.
• Money handling experience preferred.
• Experience selling soft goods and/or hard goods in an action sports retail setting.
• Proven top-of-sales-leader-board track record with previous employers.
• Please indicate months of retail experience in the cover letter.

Responsibilities

• Assist multiple guests on the shop floor and cashiering duties.
• Keep the shop stocked and organized; maintain a clean work area.
• Cashier and process sales, with emphasis on weekends and daytime hours.

A little about this position: Makes guest satisfaction a priority on the Sport Shop selling floor by helping guests find the right product for their needs.

Daily duties include, but are not limited to, assisting multiple guests simultaneously, over long periods of time, keeping the shop stocked and organized, maintaining a clean shop and work area and cashiering. Typical schedules are daytime hours, with particular emphasis on weekends.

Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent experience
• Three to six months experience in sales or guest service
• Money handling experience preferred
• The ideal candidate may have experience selling soft goods and/or hard goods in an action sports retail setting, or with qualifying customer needs and SELLING items such as apparel, shoes, and the like
• We are seeking candidates with proven track records at the top of the Sales Leader Boards at their previous employers

Hourly pay rate: $20.00 to $21.47
