Portland Leather Goods is seeking a friendly store associate for our Forum at Peachtree Corners location. You will greet customers, keep the store clean and stocked, and help create a welcoming shopping experience.

Ideal candidates have retail customer service experience, can work weekends, and are comfortable with POS systems. Training will help you learn our product lines and store procedures while delivering a fun, high-energy shopping environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher.
• Must be available to work weekends.
• Customer service/retail experience required.
• A team player is a must!
• Familiarity with POS systems and the ability to learn new systems; Shopify experience is a plus!
• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to move merchandise with appropriate equipment to and from backroom and sales floor.
• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, or balance for a duration of time.

This job is for social people who love the smell of leather, organizing beautiful products, and helping people. Our ideal applicant will have some weekend availability and will be working at our location at The Forum in Peachtree Corners, GA.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Ability to place and arrange items on all shelves and racks
• Ability to climb and descend ladders while carrying merchandise
• Ability to lift 30 pounds or more with assistance
• Ability to be on your feet for a minimum of 8 hours per shift and to continuously move around all areas of the store
• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, or balance for a duration of time
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, reports, and information on computer/register screens as well as input information into computer
