Job summary

Portland Leather Goods is seeking a seasonal Sales Associate for our Charlotte, NC store. You will greet customers, help them find the perfect bag, and contribute to a friendly, memorable shopping experience.

The ideal candidate has weekend availability, strong customer service skills, and comfort with POS systems. You’ll keep the store tidy, well stocked, and welcoming as part of a collaborative team.

Seasonal employment runs through January 3, 2027 with a store discount.

Qualifications

Responsibilities and Duties

• Greet customers in a friendly, authentic, timely manner
• Create lasting relationships and fun memories with our customers
• Comprehensive understanding and upkeep with the store products
• Ensure the store is neat, organized, and well stocked for our customers
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of proper payment procedures
• Provide a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher
• Must be available to work weekends
• Customer service/retail experience required
• A team player is a must!
• Familiarity with POS systems and the ability to learn new systems
• Friendly, outgoing personality
• Ability to lift objects weighing up to 20 lbs.
