Job summary

Work World in Modesto, CA is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Associate to join our team and help drive store growth. You will demonstrate product knowledge, assist customers in-store and over the phone, greet shoppers, and process transactions at the register.

We value reliable, detail‑oriented individuals with 1–2 years retail experience and a high school diploma. Nights and weekends availability is preferred; bilingual skills are a plus, and employee discounts are offered.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail customer service experience preferred.
• High School diploma or general degree (GED) - required
• Willing to work nights and weekends
• Excellent verbal communication
• Bi-Lingual a plus

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of products and services to customers
• Assist customers with requests in store and over the phone
• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and polite manner
• Always maintain inventory levels and restock shelves as needed
• Complete customers transactions at the cash register including taking payments, and issuing receipts
• Tag prices and merchandise
• Contribute to team's daily sales goal
