Job summary

Work World is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Associate in Redding, CA to join our growing team. You will demonstrate product knowledge, assist customers in-store and over the phone, greet shoppers, stock shelves, and process transactions at the register.

We value reliability and excellent customer service. Sick time and generous employee discounts are provided. A high school diploma and 1–2 years of retail experience are preferred, with bi-lingual a plus.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail customer service experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Willing to work nights and weekends.
• Excellent verbal communication.
• Bi-lingual is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and inventory upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of products and services to customers
• Assist customers with request in store and over the phone
• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and polite manner
• Always maintain inventory levels and restock shelves as needed
• Complete customers transactions at the cash register including taking payments, and issuing receipts
• Tag prices and merchandise
• Contribute to team’s daily sales goal.
