Qualifications

• At least 16 years old.
• Available to work a flexible schedule.
• Comfortable with technology (cash registers, hand-held and mobile devices).
• Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers.
• Able to solve problems using basic information-gathering skills.
• On-the-job training provides procedural knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers promptly: approach and acknowledge customers, provide assistance and handle multiple customers.
• Understand and meet customer needs: share product knowledge, answer questions, guide to merchandise, offer recommendations.
• Promote store events and promotions: inform customers about events and promotions to boost sales.
• Resolve customer concerns: address issues and offer alternatives, aim for exchanges when possible.
• Communicate needs to management: inform about restocking, service needs, and feedback in a timely manner.
• Support team and company goals: collaborate to achieve store and company objectives.
