Job summary

Goodwill North Central Texas is seeking a Retail Team Member Sales - PT to join store #65 Basswood in Fort Worth, TX. The role involves handling POS, assisting customers, and keeping the sales floor tidy in a fast-paced environment.

This position requires at least 1 year of customer service experience, basic math skills, and the ability to operate POS and pricing systems. It offers part-time hours with varied shifts and a strong focus on service excellence.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a work or educational setting demonstrating the ability to interact positively with the public or team.
• One year of customer service experience dealing with the public is preferred.
• Must be proficient in basic math, able to read and write; operate computerized equipment (POS, credit card draft terminal, pricing system); meet quotas; make pricing decisions based on quality of product.

Responsibilities

• Manage POS system, credit card terminal, and cash accurately; and answer telephones.
• Provide excellent customer service (friendly, courteous, attentive), greeting customers within seconds of arrival; assist customers on sales floor to select and locate merchandise.
• Assist with maintenance of hangers, and sizing of textiles on sales floor; restock depleted merchandise.
• Responsible for the overall appearance of the sales floor; performs all necessary cleaning functions in all areas of the store.
• Open availability of schedule preferred (Store open 7 days a week, 8 AM through 7 PM).
