Job summary

Goodwill North Central Texas is seeking a Retail Team Member Sales PT to support store operations at Arlington, TX. You will manage the POS, assist customers on the sales floor, and help maintain the overall appearance of the store.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of customer service experience, basic math skills, and the ability to communicate clearly with customers and teammates. Flexible scheduling is preferred as the store operates seven days a week.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a work or educational setting demonstrating the ability to interact positively with the public or team.
• One year of customer service experience dealing with the public is preferred.
• Must be proficient in basic math, able to read and write.
• Operate computerized equipment (POS, credit card draft terminal, pricing system).
• Meet quotas.
• Make pricing decisions based on quality of product.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and associates.

Responsibilities

• Manage POS (Point-of-Sale) system, credit card terminal, and cash accurately
• answer telephones
• Provide excellent customer service (friendly, courteous, attentive), greeting customers within seconds of arrival
• assist customers on sales floor to select and locate merchandise
• Assist with maintenance of hangers, and sizing of textiles on sales floor
• return empty racks and carts to production area
• and restock depleted merchandise
• Responsible for the overall appearance of the sales floor
• performs all necessary cleaning functions in all areas of the store
• Other duties as requested
• Open availability of schedule preferred (Store open 7 days a week, 8 AM through 7 PM)
