Job summary

FirstCash is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Associate in Memphis, TN. Earn $13.50–$16.50 per hour plus commission.

You’ll greet customers, assist with sales and pawn/loan services, handle transactions, and maintain store presentation in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Eligible applicants should be 18+, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be comfortable with a variety of merchandise (including firearms at FFL locations with certification provided).

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Comfortable working with a variety of merchandise (firearms in FFL locations; certification provided).
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with sales, loans, and product inquiries.
• Support customers with pawn and short-term loan services by explaining terms, completing paperwork, and ensuring a smooth, customer‑focused experience.
• Process sales and loan activity accurately while following company and regulatory guidelines.
• Evaluate merchandise for condition and value to support buying, selling, and loan decisions.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and merchandise displays.
• Handle cash and negotiable items responsibly.
• Support store operations, including basic opening/closing tasks.
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Complete required training and follow company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Comfortable working with a variety of merchandise (firearms in FFL locations; certification provided)
• Strong customer service skills and a team‑oriented mindset
• Basic math and computer skills; experience using retail checkout systems is a plus
• Willingness to assist customers or retrieve merchandise from exterior areas
• Bilingual applicants encouraged to apply

Commission Information

Associates can earn 2–8% commission based on individual performance. Full details are provided during the interview process.
