Job summary

FirstCash is seeking a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our team in Indianapolis. You’ll help customers with sales, pawn and short‑term loans, and inquiries while earning hourly pay plus commission.

The role emphasizes customer service, compliance, and supporting store operations in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates are 18+ with a HS diploma, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and comfortable with a variety of merchandise.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Able to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks.
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Comfortable working with a variety of merchandise (firearms in FFL locations; certification provided).
• Strong customer service skills and a team‑oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with sales, loans, and product inquiries.
• Support customers with pawn and short-term loan services by explaining terms, completing paperwork, and ensuring a smooth, customer‑focused experience.
• Process sales and loan activity accurately while following company and regulatory guidelines.
• Evaluate merchandise for condition and value to support buying, selling, and loan decisions.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and merchandise displays.
• Handle cash and negotiable items responsibly.
• Support store operations, including basic opening/closing tasks.
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Complete required training and follow company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
