Job summary

FirstCash is seeking a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate in Fort Wayne, IN. You will greet customers, assist with sales and pawn services, explain terms, and ensure a smooth, customer‑focused experience.

The role offers hourly pay of 13.00–16.00 with unlimited commission, flexible weekends, employee discounts from day one, and opportunities to participate in training and growth across store operations.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks.
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with sales, loans, and product inquiries.
• Support customers with pawn and short-term loan services by explaining terms and completing paperwork.
• Process sales and loan activity accurately while following company and regulatory guidelines.
• Evaluate merchandise for condition and value to support buying, selling, and loan decisions.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and merchandise displays.
• Handle cash and negotiable items responsibly.
• Support store operations, including basic opening/closing tasks.

What We’re Looking For

• Comfortable working with a variety of merchandise (firearms in FFL locations; certification provided)
• Strong customer service skills and a team‑oriented mindset
• Basic math and computer skills; experience using retail checkout systems is a plus
• Willingness to assist customers or retrieve merchandise from exterior areas

Commission Information
