AutoZone's Part-Time Retail Sales Associates drive sales through superior customer service by exceeding customer expectations and providing a WOW! Customer Service experience. The role involves assisting customers, performing daily duties, and adhering to company procedures aligned with AutoZone's standards by Living the Pledge daily.

Position Responsibilities

1. Provide WOW! Customer Service
2. Complete assigned store tasks promptly during your shift
3. Operate cash registers following established cash handling procedures
4. Follow company policies and loss prevention procedures
5. Maintain a safe working environment with PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
6. Keep store appearance and merchandising standards as directed
7. Restock merchandise and organize products in designated areas
8. Use ZNET to help customers locate merchandise or find alternatives
9. Maintain product knowledge and stay updated on promotions via AutoZone systems
10. Assist with installing wipers blades, batteries, and light bulbs, practicing GOTTChA
11. Use OBDII to read codes from customers’ vehicles
12. Diagnose automobile problems and suggest solutions
13. Communicate customer concerns and employee issues with managers
14. Engage actively in improving customer service skills
15. Offer honest and trustworthy advice on products fitting customer needs

Position Requirements

1. Applicants must be 18 or older with a High School diploma or equivalent
2. Basic automotive parts knowledge required
3. Excellent communication and decision-making skills
4. Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise
5. Flexible schedule availability, including holidays, evenings, and weekends
