AutoZone's Part-Time Retail Sales Associates drive sales through superior customer service by exceeding customer expectations and providing a WOW! Customer Service experience. Responsibilities include assisting customers, performing daily duties, and complying with company procedures in line with AutoZone's standards and Living the Pledge.

Position Responsibilities

1. Provide WOW! Customer Service
2. Complete assigned store tasks promptly during shift
3. Operate cash registers following cash handling procedures
4. Follow company policies and loss prevention procedures
5. Maintain a safe work environment, including PPE
6. Keep store appearance and merchandising standards
7. Restock merchandise and organize displays
8. Help customers locate merchandise using ZNET or suggest alternatives
9. Stay informed on products and promotions via AutoZone systems
10. Assist with installing wipers, batteries, and light bulbs, practicing GOTTChA
11. Use OBDII to read vehicle codes and diagnose issues
12. Communicate customer concerns and employee matters to managers
13. Engage in developing customer service skills
14. Offer honest advice on products fitting customer needs

Position Requirements

1. Applicants must be 18 or older with a High School diploma or equivalent
2. Basic automotive parts knowledge required
3. Excellent communication and decision-making skills
4. Ability to lift and deliver merchandise
