Job summary

Treasure Island Hotel Casino in Las Vegas, NV seeks an energetic retail associate to deliver exceptional guest service. You will greet guests, demonstrate product knowledge, and assist with inventory while processing cash and card transactions at the POS.

Maintain store standards and support returns, exchanges, and loss-prevention efforts. Role requires flexibility to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and upselling opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage with every guest in a timely manner and assess their needs.
• Use suggestive selling and upselling techniques with all guests.
• Process transactions with accuracy involving cash and card payments at the POS.
• Inspect merchandise prior to wrapping and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Conduct refunds and exchanges as per company policy.
• Opening/closing store housekeeping and keeping counters neat and uncluttered.
• Maintain sales floor standards and merchandise guidelines.
• Keep backrooms and fitting rooms organized and compliant with safety standards.
• Assist with inventory prep, counts, and recounts.
• Resolve guest issues within scope of authority and escalate when needed.
• Follow loss prevention policies to deter external theft.
• Must be able to work all shifts including mornings, swing, weekends and holidays.

• Greet and engage with every guest in a timely manner assessing their needs and provide product and service knowledge with the highest level of guest service
• Usage of suggestive selling and upselling skills with all guests
• Have knowledge of garment construction, fabric, cut, and styles
• Process transactions with accuracy involving cash as well as accepting other forms of payment i.e. credit/debit cards at the POS terminal Following PCI guidelines
• Inspect merchandise prior to wrapping/bagging; verifying product is satisfactory for guest purchase
• Conduct refunds/exchanges as per company policy
• Opening/closing store housekeeping i.e., check on supply levels, spot sweeping, wipe down counter tops, dusting and keeping all areas including cash wrap neat and uncluttered
• Maintain sales floor standards and merchandise guidelines to ensure welcoming environment
• Keep backrooms, fitting rooms, and other storage areas clean and organized as per company and safety standards
• Assist with inventory prep, counts, and re-counts
• Resolve guest issues at store level within scope of authority notifying management and/or security for escalated issues
• Follow LP policies using good guest service to help deter external theft
• Must be able to work all shifts (morning, swing, weekends, holidays included)
• Alert the Coordinator/Liaison of issues in store that need to be fixed
• Identify short dated items for appropriate disposition i.e. mark down, transfer out
• Determine if merchandise is a damage/salvage and prep to be dispositioned by Coordinator as per Retail and LP SOP’s
• Prep merchandise for mail out to include all accompanying paperwork with Coordinator signatures
• Inform Coordinator on duty of excessive overstock items, slow sellers, fast seller, and guest requests
• Answer phones by third ring with a friendly greeting including your name and outlet
• Perform all other job related duties as requested
