Job Summary
Responsible for executing acquisition of 365, renewing, upgrading, and cross-selling BJ’s Loyalty Programs. Also responsible for merchandise returns, exchanges, pick-ups, and general customer service inquiries. Provides excellent and efficient member service.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
- Promote BJ’s value proposition regarding acquisition, retention, perks, and the member experience.
- Effectively pitch membership programs to potential and existing members.
- Achieve sales goals for memberships and credit cards.
- Provide superior customer service regarding memberships, credit applications, returns, and general inquiries.
- Follow policies regarding tax-exempt and resale memberships.
- Resolve member concerns courteously and promptly, escalating as needed.
- Assist with BOPIC orders for members.
- Maintain club policies and perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
- Maintain full attendance as an essential function of the job.
Qualifications
- Prior customer service or sales experience preferred.
- Results-driven with a proven track record of achieving goals.
- Basic math skills preferred.
- Computer proficiency preferred.
Environmental Job Conditions
- Primarily stationary work on hard surfaces, with occasional bending, reaching, and handling merchandise.
- Occasional lifting of objects up to 30 pounds; heavier objects may require assistance.
- Indoor environment with infrequent temperature extremes and noise; occasional contact with cleaning agents.
The estimated starting pay range for this position is from $16.50, depending on location, experience, and qualifications.
