Job summary

Sun Tan City in Dubuque, IA is seeking energetic team members to deliver friendly customer service, explain tanning products and services, and help clients select the best options.

You'll work in a fast-paced salon, keep areas clean, meet sales goals, and enjoy benefits such as flexible schedules, casual dress, free tanning, and employee discounts, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Basic Computer skills.
• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring all your clients’ needs are met and are treated professionally.
• Engage with clients by building good relationships and understanding and meeting their needs.
• Make recommendations for products and services.
• Maintain the minimum sales requirements.
• Multi‑task such as cleaning beds as clients leave and engaging new clients upon their arrival.
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness of salon tanning rooms, lobby area, restrooms, laundry, and storage areas.
• Work cohesively with a team in an upbeat and fast‑paced salon environment while upholding all company policies and procedures.

• Base Pay - $11.00/hr or more + performance bonuses (average $15.00/hr). While $15.00 an hour is not guaranteed, it reflects the average earnings of team members who meet all performance and training criteria.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment.
• Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes.
• Ability to bend down to pick up trash, towels, etc. from the floors.-li>
• Perform salon cleaning functions including dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, etc.
• Work independently and alone during shifts as business needs require.
