Job summary

Sun Tan City in Cedar Falls, IA is seeking energetic team members to deliver friendly, professional service in a fast-paced tanning salon. You’ll help clients select services, maintain cleanliness, and contribute to a welcoming environment where guests feel valued.

This position offers a base hourly wage starting around $11 with performance bonuses and opportunities for advancement, a flexible schedule, and benefits extended to full‑time and part‑time staff.

Qualifications

• Basic Computer skills
• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring all your clients’ needs are met and are treated professionally.
• Engage with clients by building good relationships and understanding and meeting their needs.
• Make recommendations for products and services.
• Maintain the minimum sales requirements.
• Multi‑task such as cleaning beds as clients leave and engaging new clients upon their arrival.
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness of salon tanning rooms, lobby area, restrooms, laundry, and storage areas.
• Work cohesively with a team in an upbeat and fast‑paced salon environment while upholding all company policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment.
• Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes.
• Ability to bend down to pick up trash, towels, etc. from the floors.-li>
• Perform salon cleaning functions including dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, etc.
• Work independently and alone during shifts as business needs require.
