Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a store associate to serve customers, stock shelves and assist with plan-o-gram execution. You will unload trucks, build displays, rotate stock, and help shoppers locate merchandise while maintaining store cleanliness.

The role requires basic math and cash-handling skills, plus reliability to operate the POS system and assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons; stock merchandise in stock room or on the sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays and rotate stock.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register and bag merchandise; make change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Keep store clean and greet customers.
