Carter’s Inc. is seeking a Sales Associate who welcomes customers, guides them through baby and children’s apparel, and showcases product styles, features, and benefits in a busy retail environment.

You will handle POS transactions, restock, learn current promotions and loyalty programs, and contribute to a safe, clean store. The role requires flexible availability including weekends and holidays, with opportunities for growth through development programs.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a retail setting is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience handling point-of-sale transactions.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Confidently and proactively resolve issues for customers in a busy retail environment.
• Meet customer needs by assisting with omnichannel shopping when needed.
• Execute and expedite point-of-sale transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipments as needed.
• Explain current promotions and the brand loyalty program to customers.
• Minimize store loss by maintaining high standards of service and store upkeep.
