Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is looking for store teammates to help create an exceptional shopping experience for customers. You will engage with shoppers, maintain presentation standards, and participate in programs that enhance loyalty and sales.

The role emphasizes inclusivity, safety, and teamwork, with flexibility to support store operations and handle additional tasks as needed. Prior retail experience is preferred, including golf industry exposure.

• Golf industry experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up to 15 to 35 lbs. occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Greet everyone and proactively approach customers to understand their needs and support their shopping experience.
• Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards by following floor sets, signage, price changes and replenishment standards.
• Promote company programs (loyalty, warranty sales, private label credit card enrollment).
• Adhere to safety, loss prevention and SOPs; maintain confidentiality of company information.
• Create an inclusive store environment where teammates and customers feel welcome and respected.
• Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

  sets, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation and replenishment standards, etc.

• Promote company programs (i.e., customer loyalty program participation, warranty sales,

  private label credit card enrollment, etc.).

• Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention and standard operating procedures. Maintains confidentiality of all Company information.

• Create an inclusive store environment where everyone (teammates and customer) feels welcome, safe, and is treated with respect.

• Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store.

• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior retail experience preferred.

• Golf industry experience preferred.

• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up 15 to 35 lbs. items occasionally (up to 5 times per hour).

• Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.

• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).
