Job Summary
Responsible for executing acquisition of 365, renewing, upgrading, cross-selling BJ’s Loyalty Programs. Also responsible for merchandise returns, exchanges, pick-ups, and general customer service inquiries. Provides excellent and efficient member service.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
- Promote BJ’s value proposition regarding acquisition, retention, perks, and the member experience.
- Effectively pitch membership programs to potential members, adhering to company policies.
- Sell membership products with high energy and determination.
- Drive toward goal achievement based on established benchmarks.
- Understand all membership options and credit card offerings.
- Provide superior customer service regarding memberships, credit applications, and general inquiries.
- Follow policies regarding tax-exempt/resale memberships and monitor renewals.
- Resolve member concerns courteously and promptly, escalating when necessary.
- Assist with online order pickups and maintain club policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as needed, including cross-departmental work.
- Maintain full, predictable attendance.
Qualifications
- Prior front-line/customer service or sales experience preferred.
- Results-driven with success in achieving goals.
- Basic math skills preferred.
- Computer proficiency preferred.
Environmental Conditions
- Most time spent stationary on hard surfaces, with occasional bending, handling, and reaching.
- Ability to lift objects up to 30 pounds, with assistance for heavier items.
- Located indoors, with infrequent exposure to temperature extremes and noise, and occasional contact with cleaning agents.
Salary range starts at $17.00 per hour. Actual salaries vary based on location, education, experience, and qualifications.
