Job summary

Citi Trends, Inc. is seeking a Store Sales Associate to join our Markham store. You will assist customers, process transactions, and support daily store operations.

Responsibilities include freight processing, price changes, maintaining cleanliness, and following security and loss prevention procedures. A high school diploma and good communication are required; availability for nights and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Processing freight.
• Assisting with price changes/markdowns.
• Balancing register according to company policy.
• Calls out prices for customer when ringing register transaction.
• Bags merchandise efficiently when completing a customer's transaction.
• Handles cash, checks and credit cards correctly and by company policy.
• Obtains management approval when needed for returns, voids and checks.
• Keeps maintenance and housekeeping duties as assigned; provides proper customer service.
• Follows all safety procedures.
