Responsibilities include cash handling, helping with merchandising, and supporting loss prevention efforts. The role requires excellent communication, a flexible schedule, and the ability to perform basic math calculations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Processing freight and shelving merchandise as needed.
• Assisting with price changes and markdowns.
• Balancing cash register according to store policy.
• Calling out prices for customers during rangering.
• Bagging merchandise efficiently at checkout.
• Handling cash, checks and cards per policy.
• Obtaining management approval for returns or voids as required.
• Maintaining store cleanliness and housekeeping tasks.
• Providing courteous customer service and greeting customers.
• Following safety procedures and wearing a name tag.
• Assisting management with merchandising and stock levels.
• Communicating exchange/refund policies at point of sale.
• Supporting loss prevention efforts and reporting incidents.
