Job summary

The Children’s Place in Staten Island, New York is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team and deliver excellent customer service. You will use product knowledge, promote current promotions, and help maintain presentation, replenishment, and sizing while keeping the store clean and organized.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or equivalent and retail experience is preferred; must be at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge customers while providing the appropriate level of service.
• Effectively communicate value and quality of our merchandise while sharing promotions.
• Maintain merchandise presentation, replenishment, and sizing.
• Provide fast, friendly service at the cashwrap and educate customers on the PLACE Card.
• Keep stock levels, sizes, and display standards up to date.
• Follow Loss Prevention procedures and maintain a clean, safe store environment.
• Support and maintain a neat stockroom and adapt to floor/stock needs as required.
• Work a flexible schedule including weekends, overnights, evenings, and call-in shifts.
