Job summary

The Children's Place in Langhorne, PA is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals. You will model excellent customer service, share product knowledge, and apply effective selling techniques to drive sales.

You will maintain merchandise presentation, assist with replenishment, stockroom organization, and ensure a clean, safe store environment. The role requires flexible scheduling, including weekends, evenings, and some overnights as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Be aware of customer activity and respond with a sense of urgency, prioritizing assisting customers over other tasks.
• Greet and acknowledge customers while providing the appropriate level of service.
• Effectively communicate value and quality of our merchandise while sharing current promotions and offer solutions for out of stock items when necessary.
• Exercise sound judgment in effectively addressing customer concerns.
• Demonstrate selling skills to positively impact conversion.
• Provide fast, friendly, accurate service at the cashwrap and educate customers on the PLACE Card.
• Maintain appropriate stock levels and ensure sizes and styles are represented.
• Follow standards of merchandise presentation, signage, and display.
• Support a neat, clean stockroom and a customer-ready environment; adhere to safety requirements.
• Perform daily housekeeping duties to company standard.
• Guarantee company assets by adhering to Loss Prevention procedures.
• Inform Store Leadership of maintenance and facility needs promptly.
• Contribute toward achievement of store goals.
• Exhibit flexibility by processing stock when necessary.
