Job summary

Once Upon A Child NC is seeking a friendly Sales Associate to join our locally owned resale store in Matthews, NC. You will help customers find kids clothing, shoes, toys and more, process purchases at the POS, and support merchandising and store policies. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, helpful service.
• Assist customers in finding children’s clothing, shoes, toys, equipment and accessories.
• Process purchases quickly and accurately using the point-of-sale system.
• Explain store policies regarding buying, selling and store credit.
• Sort, tag, and prepare accepted merchandise for the sales floor.
• Maintain organized racks, shelves and displays.
• Keep the store clean, safe, and well-presented.
• Restock merchandise and rotate seasonal inventory.
• Answer customer questions in person or by phone.
• Support promotions, sales events, and seasonal floor changes.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet store goals.
