Job summary

US Foods is hiring a Retail Sales Associate in Portland, OR. You will perform cashier duties, stock shelves, and assist customers across departments including Meat/Frozen, Produce/Dairy, and Dry Goods. You will help with replenishment, price changes, and store upkeep to ensure an exceptional shopping experience.

The role requires 6–12 months retail cashier or stocking experience and at least 1 year in customer service. Availability for flexible hours and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6-12 months retail cashier and/or stocking experience required.
• Minimum one year retail selling and/or customer service experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Front End: sell merchandise, handle cash, scan items, ensure accurate POS data.
• Sales Floor: stock shelves, rotate product, assist customers, FIFO rotation.
• Customer Courtesy: maintain clean store, assist safety and security practices.
• Assist with opening/closing duties and inventory counts.
