Job summary

US Foods is hiring a Retail Sales Associate in Tacoma, WA for a part-time role. You will work across departments including Front End, Sales Floor, and Stocking, providing excellent customer service and helping with checkout, inventory, and merchandising.

The position requires 6–12 months of retail experience and offers a starting rate of $19.66/hr with benefits starting day one. Flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends, are required.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months retail cashier and/or stocking experience required.
• 1 year retail selling and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills (MS Word/Excel) needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service at checkout and on the sales floor.
• Assist customers, stock shelves, and rotate product per FIFO.
• Support store operations including inventory and pricing tasks.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using POS system.
• Assist with opening/closing duties and store events.
